amery reubenMore info about Amery: Amery started playing the piano at the age of 3 where he was spotted by a local teacher as having a great potential. Having studied with her for 4 years, he was then referred to Russian professor Vladamir Gurov for further training, where he obtained the Associated Board Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) Grade 8 at the age of 12 and subsequently the Licentiate Diploma of the ABRSM and a Licentiate Diploma in composition from the Trinity College of Music, London. Upon graduation from the Sydney Conservatory of Music with a major in Piano Performance, he had performed and arranged music for concert invites in Sydney, Malaysia and the USA. Latest music (besides his wide range of classical repertoire ranging from a barouqe-ish Bach and classical/romantic Beethoven-Chopin-Rachmaninoff, to the heights of modern music from Rautavaara, Alexander Tcherepnin and Takemitsu) includes his own arrangements of Astor Piazolla/various latin american composers tangos for solo/two pianos, the critically acclaimed Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, Variations on a local Singaporean Theme, and a re-arrangement of Ketelby's Persian in the Market. Qualification: • BMusPerf , Sydney Conservatory • LRSM (ABRSM, Licentiate) • LTCL (Trinity College, Licentiate)

Do inquire if you wish to take the diploma certificate, as there are many different available versions of the diploma that Amery can guide you through, namely the Associated Board Royal Schools of music, Trinity College of Music, Guildhall School of Music and Drama, Yamaha Academy, etc. The diplomas are offered at Associate, Licentiate and Fellowship level for both piano and voice.
