Alvin Yeo bring over 15 years of experience as a dedicated piano teacher.He has taught more than 100 students thus far in his teaching career. His students’ age ranges from 4 – 70 years of age. His students come from all walks of life, ranging from students with special needs and students from prestigious schools in Singapore like Raffles Girls, Nanyang Girls, Hua Chong JC, NUS, NTU. A segment are working adults as well as retirees learning for leisure.
Every individual has their unique learning capabilities and strengths, hence, lessons and teaching methods will be tailored and customised to suit each individual’s learning curve. He is willing to share my knowledge amassed from years of teaching as well as frequent attendance of seminars conducted by ABRSM examiners and Professor Edward Ho.
Students who are either learning piano for leisure or would like to take examinations and certification from the renowned Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM ) are all welcomed! Teacher Alvin’s students have obtained outstanding results ( High distinction in both ABRSM Practical and Theory examinations ) and clinched the top 3 awards in the music school’s in-house competitions. More importantly, he hopes to inculcate and instil good character traits like discipline and resilience in the midst of effective piano learning and to lay a firm foundation that will benefit them in their music career in the future.
