Wonder what the teachers’ ATCL, LTCL, FTCL Diplomas are? They are diplomas awarded by Trinity Guildhall. At a glance:

Trinity began offering examinations in music to external students in 1877, and later expanded its provision to offer examinations in other areas of the performing arts.

In 2004, Trinity College London’s performing arts examinations division merged with the external examinations department of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama to form Trinity Guildhall. In addition to grade examinations, music and drama diplomas are available at three levels – Associateship (ATCL), Licentiateship (LTCL), and Fellowship (FTCL). Today, Trinity Guildhall offers qualifications in performing and teaching in areas such as music, speech and drama, and dance.

These are the Diplomas offered by Trinity:

Diplomas in Music: Performance Diplomas
Diplomas in Music: Theory and Composition
Diplomas in Music: Teaching Diplomas

I see more piano teachers have diplomas in Performance and Teaching in Singapore. There are 3 levels of the Diplomas: Associate (ATCL, AMusTCL)
The standard of performance is equivalent to the performance component of the first year in a full-time undergraduate course at a conservatoire or other higher education establishment.

Licentiate (LTCL, LMusTCL)

The standard of performance is equivalent to the performance component on completion of a full-time undergraduate course at a conservatoire or other higher education establishment.

Fellowship (FTCL) FMusTCL)
The standard of performance is equivalent to the performance component on completion of a full-time post-graduate course at a conservatoire or other higher education establishment.
